St.Croix Cove

I just got back from my weekend at the cottage with my friends! It was a crazy fun trip, but very chillyyyyy.

On Thursday night (after our last classes everr!!!) we went down to the bus terminal and hung around. We didn't hear our boarding call though, so when we finally wandered over to the buses and found ours there were only two seats left. But me and Irina didn't notice so we got on and sat down and then realized Meaghan and Kale weren't behind us anymore. So I got off to see what was going on and the driver wouldn't let them on and said another bus would come get them and meet us in wolfville. This would have been ok but he wouldnt let me and Irina off for some strange reason... luckily we figured out that there were actually four empty seats left. So we all got on the bus in the end. Thank god. I almost had a hernia...

So we got to Btown and Dennis picked us up and we got our beds set up in the school and it was great! So cold though, I woke up Friday moring at some crazy early hour and climed into bed with the others.

We went on a walk up the stream, and another down the waterfall to the beach and up to the cabin. We went exploring down the back field and came across a logging trail that I didn't know existed before haha. The pond was full to the top and the waterfall was super gushing.

It rained on Saturday so we spent most of the day sitting around reading/studying/eating poptarts and process cheese :).

This moringn we woke up and everything was covered in snow. Kind of shocking. I was worried we would miss the bus which would have been the end of teh world because Kale has an exam tomorrow morning and the bus only leaves once a day. He was prepared to walk all the way back.

Some funny stories... Irina's new name is City Girl. She was super graceful on our walks, and she tried to cook bacon by putting the whole package in the frying pan without seperating the individual pieces.. So funny.

Meaghan's new name is princess for similar reasons. We came back from a walk and she went to start the fire up in the stove. I walked over in time to stop her from setting a newspaper on fire. There was a shingle underneath the newspaper.. And that was it.. lol it was so funny.

I had my intelligent moments as well, cause i didnt bring my rain boots so i had to be really careful since all our walks seemed to be along streams... There was one point where I had to get across but there were no rocks so all three carried me and got soaked in the process. I stayed dry though. Felt a little bad..

ANYWAY, that's enough for now. I'm sleeepy and want a nap before dinner. I have ten days till my first exam and I don't kjnow what I'm supposed to do until then.

Happy Easterrrrrrrr

yeah. I'm super jealous. it must have been weird for there to be no leaves or apples or flowers and for there to be snow! The water fall seemed really rushing, and the pond was so full! you should post a pic of the clean beach.

love megan
