Antigonish and St. FX Weekend

I climbed a giant snow bank and everyone looked at me like I was weird or something... I told them THEY were weird for NOT climbing a giant snow bank.

This is the snow storm on the way back from the Pub Saturday night.

Here we all are! That's Caroline next to me, it was her house that we stayed at.

Meaghan dawdling up the trail at the Landing.

So we went up to Antigonish to visit some friends this weekend and it was super fun! I've never been that close to Cape Breton before, so that was exciting too. The bus ride was about three hours but luckily it wasnt too busy so we got to put our seats back and nap and eat a whole bag of chocolate covered almonds (thanks to Meaghan for that brilliant idea). When we got there we went grocery shopping and bought a lasagna for the first night. On the second day we went for a walk to the Landing. It was a pretty trail, very snowy, but it felt like you were in the countryside! The town was super tiny, very cute haha. It was a nice change from Halifax (cause you know, Halifax is SOOO big...). We also went to a famous sandwich shop called the Tall and Small (or small and tall... cant remember). I got a southwest chicken wrap. Twas pretty good but they gave me a dirty knife so I had to struggle to eat it. It was a cheesy, ricey, spiceyish, tomato thing. Yum yum yum. The second night we made pizza but one of them got reeeaaallly burnt so we had to order another one. It was BBQ chicken *drool*, sooo goood.
We went out to the Pub both nights since there is only one bar in the town. It was pretty cool but sooooo busy the second night (saturday). We were considering going the the "dance" at the Legion buut decided to just stick with our age group at the Pub. The end!
